Genome characterization and comparative analysis among three swimming crab species

چکیده

In this study we sequenced the genomes of three economically important swimming crabs Portunus trituberculatus, Charybdis japonica , and Callinectes sapidus using next-generation sequencing approach made a basic assembly. The species are characterized with high heterozygosity (>1.2%) repeat content (>50%). Genome comparative analysis revealed 40 long conserved fragments (>5,000 bp) among species, most them involved in cardiac-related biological process. Relative higher genome similarity was found between P. trituberculatus C. that belong to different subfamilies, compared which from same subfamily. It is inconsistent their phylogenetic evolutionary trees inferred previous mitochondrial DNA coding ANK2 protein fragment study. We speculated might be attributed inhabit range subject environment selection, inconsistence relationship caused by rates non-coding under selection.

Characterization of the complete mitochondrial genome and phylogenetic relationships of the three-spot swimming crab (Portunus sanguinolentus).

In this study, we determined the whole mitochondrial genome profile of the three-spot swimming crab (Portunus sanguinolentus) and elucidated phylogenetic relationships between representative species in the order Decapoda. The mitochondrial genome was 16,024 bp in length and consisted of 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, two ribosomal RNA genes, and a putative control region. Of th...

The complete chloroplast genome sequences of three Adenophora species and comparative analysis with Campanuloid species (Campanulaceae)

We report the complete chloroplast genomes of three Adenophora species, and analyzed these compared them to five published Campanuloid plastomes. The total genome length of Adenophora divaricata, Adenophora erecta, and Adenophora stricta ranged from 159,759 to 176,331 bp. Among the eight Campanuloid species, many inversions were found to be only in the LSC region. IR contraction was also identi...

Ultrastructural comparative analysis on the adhesive papillae of the swimming larvae of three ascidian species

This paper presents a preliminary report on the papillae of the swimming larvae of three ascidian species: Ascidia malaca, Phallusia mammillata and Ciona intestinalis. The investigations, carried out at ultrastructural level and at confocal laser microscope, have evidenced, in the adhesive papillae of the three studied species, three different cell-types: axial columnar cells, collocytes, senso...

The Complete Chloroplast Genome Sequences of Three Veroniceae Species (Plantaginaceae): Comparative Analysis and Highly Divergent Regions

Previous studies of Veronica and related genera were weakly supported by molecular and paraphyletic taxa. Here, we report the complete chloroplast genome sequence of Veronica nakaiana and the related species Veronica persica and Veronicastrum sibiricum. The chloroplast genome length of V. nakaiana, V. persica, and V. sibiricum ranged from 150,198 bp to 152,930 bp. A total of 112 genes comprisin...

The complete chloroplast genome sequence of Epipremnum aureum and its comparative analysis among eight Araceae species

Epipremnum aureum is an important foliage plant in the Araceae family. In this study, we have sequenced the complete chloroplast genome of E. aureum by using Illumina Hiseq sequencing platforms. This genome is a double-stranded circular DNA sequence of 164,831 bp that contains 35.8% GC. The two inverted repeats (IRa and IRb; 26,606 bp) are spaced by a small single-copy region (22,868 bp) and a ...
